Terms of Service - Monkey Mountain Hike
1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a tour with Monkey Mountain Hike, you agree to the following terms and conditions. The person making the reservation and payment represents themselves and all participants in their group. This means that all attendees accept these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, we recommend not booking or participating in our tours.
2. Reservations and Payments
All bookings must be made through our online platform.
Full payment for the tour must be made at the time of booking to secure your spot.
We accept payments via credit card.
Prices listed on our website are in American Dollar (USD) and are subject to change without notice.
3. Cancellation Policies
Cancellations with more than 72 hours' notice: Full refund.
Cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice: 50% refund.
No show or late arrival: No refund. 50% credit towards future activities (Depending on availability).
Weather Conditions
If Monkey Mountain Hike determines that weather conditions make the tour unsafe, you can:
Reschedule the tour for a different date.
Receive a 70% refund if rescheduling is not possible.
Note: During peak seasons such as Christmas, New Year’s, Holy Week, and Easter, stricter cancellation policies apply:Cancellations with more than 1 week notice: Full refund. Cancellations with less than 1 week notice, no-shows, and late arrivals: No refund.
4. Participant Requirements
All participants must be physically fit to undertake the tour. Please assess your physical ability honestly before booking.
Participants under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
For safety reasons, Monkey Mountain Hike reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone who does not meet health and safety requirements.
5. Liability
Monkey Mountain Hike is committed to providing a safe and enjoyable tour. However, due to the nature of outdoor activities, you participate at your own risk. We are not responsible for:
Personal injuries throughout the experience, including vehicle transportation, or during the hike.
Losses or damage to personal property.
Delays or interruptions in service due to weather conditions or factors beyond our control.
6. Participant Conduct
Participants must follow the guide’s instructions at all times.
Inappropriate, violent, or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. Monkey Mountain Hike reserves the right to cancel the tour if anyone whose behavior endangers the safety of the group or the environment.
Participants are required to respect the local flora and fauna during the hike.
7. Image Rights
By participating in our tours, you grant Monkey Mountain Hike permission to use photographs and videos taken during the tour for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media and marketing materials. If you do not wish to appear in these materials, please inform the guide before the tour begins.
8. Changes and Cancellations by Monkey Mountain Hike
We reserve the right to modify, reschedule, or cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to adverse weather conditions, safety issues, or guide availability. In such cases, the options mentioned in the Weather Conditions section will be offered.
9. Data Protection
Monkey Mountain Hike is committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information in accordance with applicable data protection laws. Your information will be used solely for processing bookings and providing our services.
10. Dispute Resolution
In case of any dispute, disagreement, or claim arising from these terms or your participation in our tours, the parties agree to attempt to resolve the conflict amicably. If a resolution cannot be reached, any dispute will be submitted to the local courts in Mexico.
